A day for a remote controlled AGV: Latency and Troughput over VPN

Description

Latency and throughput captured based on the amount of data required to provide velocity commands remotely for an AGV. Captured from Espoo (Helsinki area) to Amsterdam (cloud) and Melbourne (RMIT VxLAb). Rate: 1 sample per minute Units: milliseconds and kB/s for Latency and throughput respectively Methodology: Latency captured as the average of 10 ping attempts. Throughput captured with a fixed data size of 20 kiloBytes in 10 transmissions (2 kB each). Size: For Amsterdam and Melbourne, the data size is 1440 samples (1 day) For Helsinki-Area the data size is 360 samples (6 hours) Connection bandwidth in Helsinki: 50 kbps Infrastructure in Amsterdam: Azure cloud, VM instance Infrastructure in Melbourne: Dedicated server in RMIT VxLab OS: Linux - Ubuntu 18 VPN: OpenVPN 2.4 Logging (Script for data logging): https://version.aalto.fi/gitlab/bejarar1/lt_data
