Sustainable textile systems: Co-creating resource-wise business for Finland in global textile networks
Description of the granted funding
In the FINIX project, we are jointly developing a textile production and consumption system in Finland that promotes sustainable development worldwide. The new paradigm based on the circular economy includes the utilization of recycled fibers and agricultural and forestry by-products, textile life cycle planning, social justice and long-lived textile business models using digital technologies for tracing and sorting, based on sustainable materials and distribution and repair services.
