Description of the granted funding

Program director for the SRC funded program "Security and trust in the age of algorithms" or SHIELD. The SHIELD program focuses on security and trust in the era of digitization, artificial intelligence and information technology as well as on finding solutions to threats to security and lack of trust. The program director builds the content and practices of the program together with the research projects, and cooperates with other program directors. The key task of the program director is to enhance the social impact of research and the accessibility of research results to support responsible decision-making. Impact is built from high-quality and interdisciplinary research. The duties of the program director also include identifying, developing and establishing different means of impact, as well as building good practices for the program's external and internal information sharing.
