Wealth, income and health inequality database

Description of the granted funding

The project aims to provide and employ in research three databases concerning inequality: wealth, income and health, and distributional national accounts. These innovative sources of information prove valuable for tracking multidimensional inequalities, even in near-real time (mere weeks after income accrual). The amalgamation of wealth and income data further furnishes insights into consumption patterns across the entire population. The datasets that we compile are unparalleled in coverage internationally. These datasets are subject to ongoing updates and we facilitate further utilization and replication by fellow researchers. Collaboratively undertaken with several pivotal institutions in the field, the project affords an unparalleled opportunity to grasp how public policies can promote impartial social development.
