Deciphering and Targeting Dysregulated Transcription in Cardio-vascular Disease

Description of the granted funding

Cardiovascular diseases are caused by complex molecular networks, including centrally those that regulate metabolism and respond to cellular stress. This project aims to explore these pathways to uncover mechanisms underlying development of cardiovascular diseases. Using cutting-edge biotechnology, including stem cell models, gene-editing approaches, and experimental compounds, we aim to identify strategies that could inform future therapies and improve patient outcomes.
