FORMULA3 develops intelligent wireless technologies for future 6G networks in the FR3 upper mid-band spectrum. The project studies how programmable wireless environments, such as reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, metallic reflector arrays, and stacked intelligent metasurfaces, can improve indoor and outdoor-to-indoor connectivity. By combining integrated sensing and communication with AI-native resource management, FORMULA3 aims to predict changes in the wireless environment and proactively adapt beams, surfaces, and network resources. The goal is to enable reliable, high-capacity, and low-latency wireless links for emerging 6G services in dynamic real-world environments.
