Infrastructure description
Biocenter Finland (BF) is a distributed national research infrastructure. BF comprises seven biocenters based at six host universities. These biocenters have combined and coordinated their resources and efforts, in order to provide life sciences technology services at national level in the following areas: bioinformatics; biological imaging; genome-wide methods; model organisms; proteomics and metabolomics; stem cells and biomaterials; structural biology; translational research technologies; and viral gene transfer and cell therapy.
