Metadata collected in summer 2023 from Scots pine seedlings of different maternal lines inoculated with Diplodia sapinea. The dataset includes: TreeID (random identifier), Length of the seedling (cm), Growth of the seedling during 2023 (cm), Treatment, indicating whether the fungal pathogen was applied under predisposing temperature conditions (+20 °C or 35 °C) or whether the seedling served as a mock control (agar plug), Number of side shoots per seedling, Necrosis length (cm), measured after 2 weeks and again after 2 months
