Repository for a JAMC article titled "Comparison of physically based and empirical modeling of night-time spatial temperature variability during a heatwave in and around a city"

Description

This repository contains modelling results and observations used in the article "Comparison of physically based and empirical modeling of night-time spatial temperature variability during a heatwave in and around a city" published in Journal of Applied Meteorology and Climatology. JAMC_puplication_open_data_by_UTU.zip contains maps containing modeled temperature results from the multiple linear regression model TURCLIM and temperature observations used to train the model. The temperature unit for the model results and the observations is degrees celcius. Turku_2018_07_heatwave_JAMC_0UTC.nc contains HARMONIE-AROME modeled temperature results used in the article. The temperature unit for HARMONIE-AROME results is kelvin.
