Interplay of synaptic changes, neuroinflammation and beta-amyloid in cognitively normal subjects with varying risk of late-onset Alzheimer’s disease (ASIC-E4) – Metadata

Description

This dataset contains imaging and biomarker measures from cognitively unimpaired volunteers with varying risk for AD due to different APOE genotypes (N=63). The dataset includes the following measurements: - Brain PET imaging using 11C-PiB (targeting beta-amyloid), 11C-PK11195 (targeting 18 kDa translocator protein) and 11C-UCB-J (targeting SV2a). - Structural and functional brain magnetic resonance imaging - Blood biomarker measurements (Abeta, tau, p-tau, NTA-tau, GFAP, NfL) - Neuropsychological testing - Laboratory measurements Study protocol and baseline characteristics have been published and are openly available (Snellman A et al., Front Neurol. 2022 Feb 9;13:826423. doi: 10.3389/fneur.2022.826423. eCollection 2022.)
