Description

Measurements were made in Battery Laboratory at Turku university of applied sciences. The cell measurements were done in weather chambers with different temperature settings. Measurement equipment was Chroma 17011 Battery cell tester. It has 24 channels with a maximum current of 100 A per channel. Channels can be connected in parallel to provide higher currents up to 1000 A. In each channel there is at least one temperature sensor. The measurement results have the following columns: - Step - Cycle - Loop (If there is more than 1 loop) - Step No. - Step Mode (for example CC Charge) - Step Dwell Time(ms) (time from the beginning of the step) - TEST TIME - Dwell Time (time from the beginning of the test) - Voltage (V) - Current (A) - Capacity (Ah) - Mode - Wh - Total Capacity (Ah) - Status - Temperature - Temperature (If there are 2 temperature sensors) Cell specifications Rated capacity 23 Ah Nominal voltage 2,3 V Maximum voltage 2,7 V Minimum voltage 1,5 V Maximum continuous current 100 A Maximum current 200 A (10 s) Operating temperature -30 °C … 55 °C
