Prison survey data: Women with criminal background, traumatic experiences, and development of women specific services (RITA)

The research project focuses on women with criminal background, traumatic experiences, and development of women specific services.
The aim for this project is to (1) study the connection of trauma experiences service needs of women with criminal backgrounds, (2) examine and analyze nowadays social work regarding substance use, health social work, social work with adults, and living social work and employment services from the service evaluation point of view, and (3) develop and pilot trauma experiences recognizing model of co-operation and services, which systematize the preparation for women's release from prison and contribute to the success of integration into society.
The project will be developed at three stages. The first phase is to implement in prisons wide survey and interview survey on the trauma experiences of women with criminal backgrounds and their traumas consequences. This empirical data consists of the survey (n=37). Questionnaire is called Traumatic Antecedents Questionnaire (TAQ). Data were analyzed using quantitative methods.
