In-situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction study of the effects of grain orientation on the martensitic phase transformations during tensile loading at different strain rates in metastable austenitic stainless steel

Description

This publication comprises data obtained using in-situ high-energy X-ray diffraction (XRD) conducted at DanMAX beamline of the MAX IV synchrotron facility. The XRD data were collected at different strain rates ranging from 10-3 s-1 to 1 s-1 continuously without interrupting the tensile experiments. The effects of strain rate and austenite grain orientation on the strain-induced martensitic transformations were investigated. The data is part of the original publication in Materials Science & Engineering A. The original manuscript is available at https://doi.org/10.1016/j.msea.2024.146481.
