Raw data from Finnish rock art sites

Description

This dataset contains research materials collected at prehistoric Finnish rock art sites between 2013 and 2023. The work was part of the Academy of Finland funded projects "Music and sound practices at prehistoric North European burial, rock art and settlement sites" (2013-2016) and "Acoustics and Auditory Culture at Hunter-Gatherer Rock Art Sites in Northern Europe, Siberia and North America" (2018-2023) at the University of Helsinki. The data comprise acoustic impulse responses and other audio recordings (wav), photographs and videos (jpg, m4v, insp), as well as geospatial data (shp). The names of the main folders indicate the rock art site and date of collection, while the names of the subfolders indicate the recording device (audio recorder, microphone, camera, GNSS receiver).
