The Kipo Corpus (2010 The Language Policy Programme for the National Sign Languages in Finland)

Description

Until November 2020, this corpus is available via the LAT platform in the Language Bank of Finland, see Access location. This corpus can no longer be accessed via the LAT interface, since The LAT service of the Language Bank of Finland was discontinued in November 2020. However, the same content is available for download (see under Relations). Further details about the most recent version are available on the info page of this corpus family (https://www.kielipankki.fi/aineistot/kipo). The language policy program of the sign languages of Finland was written in Finnish first and then translated into the Finnish sign language by two persons who speak it as their mother tongue. However some parts of the program have been produced differently. For example the preface was first produced in sign language and then translated into Finnish.
