The samples consist of three parallelepipeds (3 mm x 3 mm x 10 mm) collected from mylonitic rocks outcropping within a crustal-scale strike-slip shear zone (Palmi Shear Zone, Palmi, Italy), located in the southern Mediterranean realm and operating in the time spanning from 60 to 30 Ma.
