Metadata for article "Hydrogen plasma smelting reduction process monitoring with optical emission spectroscopy – Establishing the basis for the method"
Description
The research was conducted at the Chair of Ferrous Metallurgy at the Montanuniversitaet of Leoben, Austria. The objective of the study was to find out the suitability of optical emission spectroscopy (OES) and image analysis for monitoring the H2+Ar plasma. The long-term goal is to implement the method for hydrogen plasma smelting reduction of iron ores, which will be the topic of future research.
The details of the plasma reactor, spectrometer, and camera together with detailed experiment steps are described in the publication (10.1016/j.jclepro.2022.133755).
The data comprises of
1. Plasma reactor data
1.1. Electrical data (.xlsx)
1.2. Off-gas composition (.xlsx)
2. OES spectra (.txt)
3. Videos (.avi)
