Multilingualism and language awareness in early childhood education and care – Survey data and the survey

Description

The study investigates multilingualism, language awareness and language-aware practices in early childhood education in Finland. The data consists of questionnaire data collected from early childhood education staff through an online survey. The survey contains both closed and open questions and was conducted using Webropol software in 2017. The research finished in 2022. The survey questionnaire and the responses of respondents who gave their consent for further use of the data (research, teaching, education) have been published in the JYX database of the University of Jyväskylä. The Survey is available freely as a separate publication under this dataset.
