The data was collected from one workplace during the years 2021-2022, using the methods of digital ethnography. The researcher collected observational data by participating in digital environments of the workplace. In addition, the researcher observed for two days in the workplace. The data consists of field notes (73 pages), interviews (15 interviews, 176 pages of transcribed text) and participant diaries (7). The focus of the study was to examine how digital technology is used for informal workplace learning in knowledge work.
