Video data recorded in 2021-2022 from several small RAS tanks containing Rainbow trout in Natural Resources Institute Finland's (Luke) research facilities in Laukaa, Finland. All the videos were recorded using Alvium 1800 U-240c RGB video cameras. The cameras were encased in a transparent box that was lowered barely the surface, keeping the camera dry while providing a good view on the fish from above. The data contains recurring feeding events. The laukaa_test_2021 directory contains .mov format video data from one tank, recording 10 minutes with a resolution of 1920x1080 and a frame rate of 30 FPS every hour during the period 13.4. - 5.4.2021. The laukaa_spring_2022 directory contains .mkv format video data from six different tanks with a resolution of 1936x1100 and a frame rate of 9.9 FPS. The videos vary in length and observation period, all starting on 17.1.2022. The last videos were recorded on 23.4.2022. The laukaa_fall_2022 directory contains .mkv format videos where the monitoring is continuous from two tanks, consisting of 5-minute videos recorded every 5 minutes with a resolution of 1936x1100 and a frame rate of 27 FPS during the period 27.10 - 21.12.2022. On the days when water turbidity was very high (>32 UV254t), videos have been removed. The structure of the data under these directories is /TANK/DATE/TANK_YYYY_MM_DD_hh_mm_ss.mkv with TANK specifying the camera/tank in question and a date and time in the file name specifying the start time of the recording.
