Turku University of Applied Sciences Continuous Environmental parameter monitoring data set

Description

Continuous environmental parameter monitoring data collected utilizing IoT-sensors in the Turku region, South-West Finland. Parameters include, but are not restricted to natural water surface water temperature, surface water turbidity, stream water levels, stream water flow rate, storm water network water level, storm water network water flow rate, precipitation, wind direction, wind speed, air humidity, air pressure, air temperature. The sensor network is continuously expanded to include more stations and parameters. Data is collected mainly on 10 - 15 minute intervals by different sensors, transmitted by LoRaWAN and received at a cloud database. Data can be viewed and more information is available at https://vesijaymparisto.turkuamk.fi/en/real-time-monitoring/
