Fast capillary waves on an underwater superhydrophobic surface

Fast capillary waves on an underwater superhydrophobic surface

Description

High-speed video of plastronic waves, i.e. capillary waves travelling on the plastron of underwater superhydrophobic surfaces, as demonstrated in publication with doi: TBD. The plastronic waves are produced by an amplitude-modulated 2.5-MHz signal generated by a focused ultrasound transducer. Here, metadata and readme files are included with raw data.
