Crossing Borders – Artistic Practices in Performing and Narrating Belonging: project data
Description
Crossing Borders project explored belonging and non-belonging through films and videos, writing, theatre, and visual arts. The data consists of five workshops (spoken word, visual arts, film, theatre, collage) and products of the workshops, ethnographic field notes of the researchers, photographs, videos and voice recordings from the workshops, interviews of the participants, and written and oral feedback of the attendants of the exhibition. The data collection started in Winter 2018 and finished in Autumn 2021.
Audio-recordings of workshop meetings ca 2300 minutes; audio-recordings of interviews ca 1800 minutes, video-recordings of workshop meetings ca 900 minutes, photographs ca 400, flyers 16, short documentary films 7, audio and video poems 13, a recorded theatre performance consisting of three group works 34 minutes, text drafts 53, multimodal ethnographic field notes from five workshops. In addition, information and consent forms, interview questions, Facebook photos and posts, WhatsApp photos, workshop memos, transcriptions of conversations and interviews, feedback from the exhibition visitors.
