Nature-based interventions for young people: surveys and interviews

Description

This data explores nature-based interventions for young people in precarious situations living in Finland. It covers two subprojects: (i) PPGIS (Public Participation Geographic Information Systems) survey study and (ii) NBI (Nature-Based Interventions) study. The PPGIS study contains both survey and spatial data collected from 176 young people in Finland, between February 2023 - October 2023. The study examines the association between young people's nature experiences and their mental well-being, social inclusion, and nature related. The NBI study contains pre- and post-intervention survey data and post-intervention interview data collected from 28 youth who were outside education or employment and participated in nature-based youth workshops in Finland. Data was collected between December 2022 to October 2023. The study explores the well-being experiences of participants and the effects of the interventions on their well-being outcomes. Data is planned to be published in anonymized format when the study is finalized.
