Class Teachers' Experiences of COVID-19 Pandemic 2021

Description

The data consists of interviews in which classroom teachers reflect on their experiences of distance education in 2020. The data is a follow-up to FSD3733 Classroom Teachers' Experiences of Distance Teaching 2020. The respondents are primary school teachers, and the numbering of the interviewees is consistent with FSD3733 and FSD3948 datasets. First, the interviewees were asked how they feel and view the distance education period a year ago now. They were also asked how they felt about their work during the current school year and whether it had involved distance education. The interviewees were then asked how the distance education periods changed them as teachers and whether practices were shifted from distance to face-to-face teaching. Finally, interviewees were asked to give themselves advice when moving to a distance education period a year ago and to reflect on what is essential for good distance education. The background information includes the gender of the interviewee and the class being taught.
