Topsoil samples from a field experiment focusing on the effects of three different pulp and paper mill sludges on soil properties. The experimental field is on a clay-textured soil. The experiment has four treatments, where the soil is amended with (1) composted pulp mill sludge, (2) lime-stabilized pulp mill sludge, (3) fiber sludge (consisting of cellulose fibers that are too short paper production), and (4) unamended control.
