Synthetic 1-100 GV daily cosmic ray proton data set for 2011-2019 and 1964-2021
Description
Synthetic daily cosmic ray dataset that conform to AMS-02 measurements. The data is based on the daily modulation potential (Väisänen et al. 2023) and a modulated local interstellar matter model (Vos & Potgieter 2015).
The dataset contains four tables:
1. SyntheticData.csv
Synthetic daily cosmic ray data corresponding to the AMS-02 2011-2019 time period.
2. SyntheticDataRegressed.csv
Synthetic daily cosmic ray data corresponding to the AMS-02 2011-2019 period and 2nd-order regressed to match AMS-02 (2011-2019) daily measurements.
3. SyntheticDataFull.csv
Synthetic daily cosmic ray data corresponding to the full modulation potential period for years 1964-2021.
4. SyntheticDataFullRegressed.csv
Synthetic daily cosmic ray data corresponding to the full modulation potential period for years 1964-2021 and 2nd-order regressed to match AMS-02 (2011-2019) daily measurements for the overlapping period.
All the tables have the same columns. The rigidity bin headers inside the files correspond to the start of the rigidity bin.
