The dataset includes but is not limited to: British Library Newspapers (BLN): A vast collection of ~655,000 newspaper issues from 1800–1900, featuring ~40 billion words. Provides rudimentary article segmentation and metadata insights. Burney & Nichols Collections (BN): Comprising ~230,000 pamphlets and newspapers from before 1600–1800, this collection offers extensive structural and metadata information. Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO): Contains ~210,000 books from 1700–1800, with detailed structural levels and genre information across eight modules. Early English Books Online Text Creation Partnership (EEBO-TCP): Features ~60,000 manually transcribed books from 1400–1700, representative of the broader EEBO collection. English Short Title Catalogue (ESTC): Provides rich metadata for ~480,000 print publications from 1400–1800, enhancing the full-text collections with detailed bibliographic information. The dataset is stored in IDA for long-term preservation, with work data available in CSC environments.
