Competence Leap project, end-user experiences

Description

This data set consists of 106 end-users answers to questionnaire and open ended questions about their experiences with learning analytics (LA) application for career and education guidance. End-user were over 16 years of age, of Finnish and immigrant backgrounds with varying other background characteristics. The end-users tried out the LA application during the career guidance session together with career guidance specialist in three different regions in Finland. This gathered data was used to evaluate the developed LA application, investigate what end-user groups benefited from the LA application and how was their career decision making process supported. Data set includes: End-users background information, career decision making self-efficacy believes, preferences and experiences with career and education guidance, perceived support from the LA application, consideration of life situation where the LA application could be used, feedback and suggestions for future development. Data was gathered and the LA application was developed during the Competence Leap project funded by the European Commission.
