Composite Plates preview

Description

The sample set contained two pure copper plates (Makin and M2h), three plates that were a composite made of copper and tungsten disulfide (MWSM10, MWSM25, MWSM30, with 10, 25 and 30 weight-% of WS2, respectively) and two plates that were a composite made of copper, tungsten disulfide, and graphene nanoplatelets (GMP2.5-10, with 2.5 weight-% of GNP and 10 weight-% of WS2, and GMP10-0.5-10, with 0.5 weight-% of GNP and 10 weight-% of WS2). The samples were imaged to evaluate the presence of macro- and microporosity in the produced samples and to evaluate the homogeneity and dispersion of the second phase inside the copper matrix.
