Lidar, 2008-2020
Description
Laser scanning data contains 3D point clouds that are produced with laser scanning from an airplane. Laser scanning points are classified to different types, for example: surface of the Earth, trees, houses, water etc. Laser scanning data refers to three-dimensional point-like data depicting the ground and objects on the ground. Each point is provided with x, y and z coordinate information. The point density is at least 0.5 points/m2.
The more detailed specifications are separately for years 2008-2019 and 2020->.
To Paituli lidar files have been added [index files generated with lastools](https://rapidlasso.com/2012/12/03/lasindex-spatial-indexing-of-lidar-data/). Additionally for many files the headers have been fixed with updating the point counters and bbox coordinates, in original NLS files these had mistakes.
Coordinate Reference System: ETRS89 / ETRS-TM35FIN (EPSG:3067)
