Qualitative data of consumer transformation journeys of recovering alcoholics 2017

Description

This dataset contains data about the recovery process of recovering alcoholics participating in three Alcoholics Anonymous groups in Passo Fundo, Brazil. The dataset consists of 29 in-depth interviews conducted with 18 recovering alcoholics, where they told the story of their drinking and sobriety, since the moment they started drinking to beginning of recovery to their everyday life in recovery; 10 diaries where participants reported their everyday life in recovery from 15 days to two months; notes of observations of 13 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. The data are in Portuguese. From the 18 participants, two did not consent to have their data further shared with other researchers. The data is not immediately available due to the sensitive nature but it can be shared for academic research upon agreement.
