This project is conducted to develop human behavior understanding technologies to endow machines the ability of social-awareness. Like facial expressions, which have been widely used for human emotion perception, human body gestures are also extremely critical cues for understanding human social attitudes. In this project, we refer such body behavior cues which emerge in social communication as social gestures, and attempt to conduct automatic analysis on them by leveraging computer vision and machine learning techniques.
