I am applying for a grant to complete the final year of my PhD studies. I design nanomedicines able to reach the infarcted heart and promote its healing. I am currently working on my third publication, which is an in vivo validation of my first paper. In the specific, I am performing the in vivo studies on a rat model of myocardial infarction in collaboration with the University of Turku. These studies will demonstrate that my system induce recovery from infarction in living complex organisms. I am planning to graduate by end of 2022.
