Explainable Artificial Intelligence for Finnish Securities Markets

Description of the granted funding

The key goals of my research work are twofold. The first goal is to use global and local feature importances and study their contributions to the explainabilty of automatic securities markets decision-making models. The second goal is to explore other techniques to semantically and visually explain complex models to financial domain experts as well as individual consumers (such as stock owners). The research is expected to lead to several publications in high level journals and leading conferences, where the funding from the Foundation for the Advancement of Finnish Securities Markets would be acknowledged.
