Future School of Comprehensive Well-Being (SCHOOLWELL)

Description of the granted funding

In the SchoolWell project, we create research-based, sustainable and effective pedagogical solutions for the simultaneous promotion of learning and comprehensive well-being among students in elementary schools. The goal of the project is to develop solutions to support positive study and life trajectories and to promote equality by building a school that supports comprehensive well-being. The SchoolWell project models the development and the interrelation between students' physical, social and mental well-being and their relationship to learning at school. We create and experiment with pedagogical solutions that support students' comprehensive well-being and learning and study their effectiveness as part of the school's everyday life. We produce models and materials for teachers and other professionals who work with students. The SchoolWell is implemented multidisciplinary and multi-methodically, using a longitudinal research design.
