Topological non-smooth analysis and point-wise geometric function theory

Description of the granted funding

The project aims to achieve significant advances in the field of geometric function theory, along with other fields of non-smooth analysis with topological and geometric influences. The topics are centered around the study of quasiregular mappings, which are mappings that distort space only by a limited amount at an infinitesimal scale. The project aims to develop the theory of quasiregular values, a recently discovered new approach to the core results of quasiregular analysis which allows one to apply these results in the research of less regular types of functions. The other main focus of the project is the study of topological obstructions to the existence of quasiregular maps between various spaces.
