The Western Finland Design Centre MUOVA has developed a creative laboratory, Creativelab, to support creativity and innovation in companies and organisations, students and researchers. Creativelab is a creative and experiential innovation environment that includes experiential spaces, guidance and creative, multi-sensory and participatory methods. Creativelab also serves as a pre-incubator platform for the Vaasa University Consortium and as a learning and research environment. Creativelab focuses on experiential learning. Around an idea or problem a process that simulates the innovation process of companies and organisations. The innovation process is driven by customer needs and designed with a focus on user-centred development. In addition to the company, users and customers of the product or service, as well as external experts, may be involved in the innovation process. Creativelab offers companies and other organisations training and development services, including creative workshops for product and service development, brand building and vision clarification.
