National Plant Phenotyping Infrastructure

Abbreviation

NaPPI

Infrastructure description

The facility consists of two imaging units for small model plants and larger crop plants by visible light RGB, thermal and chlorophyll fluorescence sensors. Plants are automatically transported between the weighing and watering stations and the imaging stations. These tools allow comprehensive analysis of plant growth, development and physiological responses during the entire life cycle.
