The purpose of the research infrastructure is to create infrastructure that is national database of teacher education. The infrastructure can be utilized in research and in the development of teaching and education at all levels of education.

Opettajankoulutuksen kansallinen tietovaranto FinTED on aineistotutkimusinfrastruktuuri, joka perustuu avoimen tieteen periaatteisiin. Tietovarantoon kerätään aineistoja varhaiskasvatuksesta yliopistopedagogiikkaan ja se muodostaa ajallisen jatkumon valintavaiheesta opintoihin ja opintojen jälkeiseen aikaan (uraseuranta).
