Raza Ali

Description

Ali completed his MS in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad in 2020, during which he served as a Research Assistant. His thesis focused on spatial modeling of interference in inter-vehicular networks within a 3D volumetric environment, contributing valuable insights to vehicular communication research. Following his graduation, Ali collaborated on innovative research projects with GC University and University College Cork. His work concentrated on incorporating RIS in the mmWave/THz spectrum, exploring its transformative potential in smart industrial environments and other advanced scenarios. Currently, Ali is a Marie-Curie fellow and doctoral researcher at the University of Oulu in EXACT-6G project. His research focuses on DoA estimation for future wireless communication systems using machine learning, particularly within the context of 6G.
