Description
Ville Pitkäkangas received his B.Sc. (with distinction) in information technology from Centria ammattikorkeakoulu (Centria University of Applied Sciences) in 2012. His B.Sc. thesis was about interaction methods between a mobile device and a multi-touch table. He was a project engineer in digital holography research group at the University of Oulu in 2012-2014. His duties there included mathematical modeling, GPU programming, and software and algorithm development. In 2018, he joined Centria University of Applied Sciences to work as an R&D developer, originally in a 5G project but later in other domains, including (but not limited to) health and well-being, building and energy technologies, and security. In 2024, he became an RDI Expert at Centria, with specialisation in AI development.
