I have been working as a lead researcher in the focus area of low-carbon solutions at R&D Unit of Oulu University of Applied Sciences since 1/2024. I have over 6 years of experience as a principal lecturer, senior specialist, project manager, and coordinator of circular economy activities at Lapland UAS. In 2014, I finalised my studies in the University of Oulu, department of Chemistry and recieved my diploma of Doctor of Philosophy. My doctor thesis continued my Master of Science research on the field of utilisation of biobased materials as raw materials in energy production as well as how to utilise ash a raw material for geopolymers. Main subject of my studies was in Inorganic Chemistry but both master's and doctoral thesis were closely connected to the field of circular economy. I have specialised on circular economy development in education as well as R&D actions, project planning and implementation, and also in integration of circular economy into organisation operations.
