Kokkola Lydia
Description
Lydia Kokkola's current research specializes in children’s reading including reading literature and reading in a second language. In these projects, she examines advanced L2 literacy skills and the embodied nature of all reading. She is best known for her work in trauma studies and adolescent sexuality. She has also published several articles on Critical Plant Studies, and this is her main research area at present.
Lydia's main teaching duties at Oulu University are Speech Production & Communication, MA thesis supervision and SLA research methodologies.
