Results and impact

This project is now in its final stage and the final report is being written by 31.12.1997. The project was succesful. We found aerosolizable metabolites of Streptomyces griseus strains colonizing sick buildings, such as childrens day care centres. The chemical structure of one group of compounds was identified and its toxicity assessed. This was found extremely toxic, toxicity threshold was 0.5 mikrograms per litre.
