Abstract

Carl Gustaf Sundell är för de flesta en ganska okänd gestalt i Finlands historia. Via moderns yrke som hemväverska blev han intresserad av textilindustrin, reste till England, men kom tillbaka till Åbo och skulle både där och i Björneborg göra en betydelsefull karriär inom den finländska textilindustrin under sent 1800- och tidigt 1900-tal.
