Abstract

Additive manufacturing (AM) has gained popularity alongside traditional manufacturing, but it can be a complex process for users with no prior experience. The AM field is also constantly evolving with new equipment, materials, and software. While AM education has become more common in higher education institutions, it is less in vocational schools due to the teaching staff’s lack of AM knowledge and other needed resources. This study explores various teaching methods that support AM learning and provides valuable insights for the development and implementation of AM training for teachers and other multi-professional groups unfamiliar with AM.
