New methods for computational design of metal nanoclusters for bio-imaging and photodynamic therapy
Description of the granted funding
This research develops new computational methods for holistic understanding of the functionality of metal nanoclusters as fluorescent labels and photosensitisers in bioimaging and photodynamic therapy. The new methods will combine quantum physics - informed machine learning and molecular dynamics simulations. The research is done in collaboration with groups in USA (UC Irvine and Stanford University Medical Center) and Canada (Queen's University).
