Abstract
This chapter concludes the volume by drawing general conclusions based on the ten country cases of European tenure track systems discussed in previous chapters. We will describe the tenure track system on a general level and then outline some basic similarities and differences between the systems. We also highlight the challenges and difficulties facing the European tenure track system.
